Excellent Java Game/App site - Free Games for Mogul
I came across this site and was amazed at the availability of free games. Check out mobiles24.com, free registration and alot of free games.
So far I've tested about 12 games and they all work great. Maybe ill create a package of all the ones I've tested and worked if asked for. Just wanted to inform you all. |
how did you install them i tried but keeps giving me a error...i tried both resolutioin 176x220 and 240x320 still no dice ???
|
download them to you computer, its a link under the google add. Move the jar files to your phone, and run them from your phone. Don't do that download feature where u download from your phone, that doesnt work. Get the actual .jar file and put it on your memory card or something, and run it from there.

They install and load fine for me (if you download the 'pc download' and not the JAD - the JAD has the incorrect url's embedded..) - but - I can't figure out how to map keys? The d-pad and enter works, but I haven't been able to start a game yet...

Try the menu keys, the ones with a dot.

The hardware version of the left/right soft keys? Tried those..nothing..
What game have you tried that you know works that I can try? -m |
Monkey Ball Mini Gold, Burnout, Civilization, Elder Scrolls Oblivion are the four I actually played longer than 3 mins. The only one I cant seem to get to work is Fifa World Cup.

WOW! NICE FIND!!!! I just got as bunch of games and started them up just to make sure they were 100% legit... It's AMAZING how many freakin' games they have on there! THANKS AGAIN!!!
-Touche' EDIT/UPDATE: By the way... They have a few good free Java Programs, too. I'm using eBuddy (YIM, AIM, GTALK, ETC), and it's working quite nicely right now! |

I downloaded several of these games for my PPC-6700. So far, only Bejeweled doesn't seem to work at all. However, I've only been able to figure out an input method for a couple of them.
The stylus doesn't seem to work for any of them, but the left and right soft keys work on a couple, as does the joystick. Is there a "standard" input method for these Java games, or is it however the programmer wrote them, and some just won't work on the PPC-6700? |

So in short - odds are the directional pad (or the 2, 4, 6, and 8 buttons on the keyboard) and the two 'action' buttons (the two dot buttons on the bottom next to the pad) to be the ones that'll work. |
i can't get any of them to work, i did the download to pc and then moved them to my phone but none of them will run, what am I doing wrong?
|
I've been able to get several to work, but can't get Super Mario All-Stars or MF Radio. Any suggestions on an internet radio program?
|
Can anyone tell me how to load the games once I download them to my desktop?
|
well.. this is interesting.. java allows multiple buttons to pressed at the same time.. does that mea our problems with pocket nester plus are software related?
are there any other java engines that allow us to map keys? |
