Mogul won't vibrate while ringing...

Ok I have my phone set on Ring and Vibrate and it only plays the ringtone. If I set the phone on vibrate only, it doesn't even vibrate... its just silent.

anyone solve this problem??

Have you done a soft reset? What programs do you have loaded?

I've had this same issue. The phone would vibrate on startup, but never for any notifications. Unfortunately, the only way I found to fix it was to restore from an earlier backup or to hard-reset.

yup, I've done a soft reset... I only get that small short vibration when it starts up.

I have....

HTC Home Plug in
HTC Audio Manager
HTC Touch Contacts
PPC6800 Hacks
Opera Mini
Bluetooth Audio
Webis Money Manager
HTC Home Customizer
Oxios Close Apps
Google Maps
TCMP
Flash Mobile
Flash Plug In for Youtube

I use to have Piscel and SMS Threader but they started actin' up... So I took them out.

The easiest way to start by eliminating the hardware so go get the trial of version of SPB Backup HERE backup than hard reset. Test your ringer vibrate, if it works than add one app at a time till you find the cause. I have a suspect in your list but I would rather not say I would most likely get attacked by the masses. Lets eliminate the hardware from the picture first it is the easiest thing to eliminate and the hardest to fix. After you are done testing restore your device it will be back like you never changed anything. Always ActiveSync before testing just in case something goes wrong.

HTC Home Plugin

I think it has something to do with the HTC Home Plugin. I have the same issue. I had this problem since I installed the HTC Home Plugin.

ahhh, I had a feeling it had something to do with that.

whats a better Today plug in that can do the samethings as the HTC Home Plugin (I can deal without the weather panel tho... just the pic contacts and favorite programs)

i actually believe that it is ppc 6800 hacks that is messing up the vibrating feature. But I am testing my theory now,

i have the same problem but don't want to reset everything to get it back. my phone won't vibrate for a call, it only does on initial startup.

i do have the ppc 6800 hacks program installed so i imagine that is probably what is doing it.

PPC6800 Hacks

Dont disable the LED and it will vibrate again. Disabling the LED through PPC6800 hacks will elimate the phone vibrate feature. :) Enjoy!
