recording phone conversations
Hi, will the 6800 record "both" sides of a phone conversation, or is it like the 6700 only doing the phone's side? With the 6700, if it is on speakerphone, then you can get the incoming caller recorded somewhat, but nothing like some of the other phones out there. Thanks

I tried hitting record when I was on a phone call and it completely cut out the conversation. The person on the other end couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear them until I stopped recording so I don't think there is a way to do it by default. Sucks as it can be a useful story.

you can't

It's unfortuantely because many of my much older phones could do this with ease

Windows Mobile is such a powerful OS, yet woefully weak in some of the most basic areas. The voice recorder is one of those weaknesses. On my Treo, I used Call Recorder. I thought I saw a similar software for WM. I'll post when I find it.

I havent found any that work. In fact, I had just reformatted my phone this weekend and one of the programs I installed this time around was Resco Aucio Recorder, which has a "Auto record phone calls" feture that I enabled.
I tried to use my phone at work today and everytime I got a call or I made a call, the audio would cut out within the first coulple seconds. Of course I totally spaced that I had enabled that feture in Resco Audio Recorder until a couple hours later... duhh... |

Quite a few people said this didn't work on the Mogul.

It doesn't work. At least it doesn't mute the phone conversation like audio record do. I just remembered that I didn't check with the speaker on.. Trying that now... brb
