soft reset & hard reset
 

does continue soft resetting (3-5/day) for extended period of time damage the hardware(mogul) and/or shortening the life expentancy of the phone?

how about the same question(but less frequent , ie. once a year) for hard reset?

I dont think it affects the hardware or the lifespan of the device at all.

Other than wearing out the button (which would probably take years and years), there shouldn't be any risk to the hardware.

I had one 6700 that needed 3 or 4 resets per day - sometimes 3 or 4 in a row. No damage ever occured.
