Improving Signal
 
Hello. Is there anything I can do to improve the signal on my Mogul? I am only getting like 1 and a 1/2 bars in my room. Is there like a app I can download?? I am using alltel btw.

how do i download a new radio? i am new to the mogul. do i have to unlock my phone?? do i have to upgrade to wm6.5? sorry I am a noob

You will need to unlock your phone first. After you unlock the phone you will be able to try new roms and radios. You dont need Wm6.5, and you dont need to change roms if you dont want to. You can just try a new radio after you unlock the phone.
*note, unlocking you phone will void your warranty, and will need to relock it if you need to return it.

You do not need to upgrade your radio. That will do very little to improve your performance. If you follow the link I sent you, that will upgrade your PRL. That lets your phone utilize all of the towers in your area, including the Verizon and Sprint.

Um, thats not true. Depending on your area you can see improvements with different radios.
