cabs don't install and programs installed show empty. ideas?
 

Suddendly cabs won't install (give an "install unsuccessful error), and when I got to remove programs, the list is empty.
I don't know what's wrong.
It's happened once already before.
The only fix I could find was a hard reset.

I have a sprint mogul with latest ROM (it's 4 days old)
I removed the audible prog, and installed a few basic things (resco stuff, the HTC 1.5 x-button)

I can't pinpoint any one thing that i'm doing.
I still have 25 days to get a refund
any ideas?

What programs are you installing and where are you installing them? ie. on the phone, memory card?

installed resco explorer, today screen, reg editor, photo pro
pTravelAlarm, HTC xbutton 1.5
and Wizard_reTouched_Dialer
removed the audible program

Sounds like you have something corrupted, but I am not sure how you would fix it short of a hard reset. I had a similar issue after I did a restore from a previous backup. I kept getting the "install unsuccessful" error. I did a restore again and it fixed it so I suspect something did not restore correctly the first time.

I'm having the same exact problem with my mogul. I really don't want to hard reset, but I guess no one else knows how to fix this.
