in case anyone is like me and loved the htc home clock, but doesnt want the extra stuff (tabs, app sucking up memory...) check out this thread on the rltoday themes forums...

With a couple tiny modifications, I am left with the attached homescreen.

I have 22mb free with rlToday activated and the sys-to-reg mortscript running in the background...

id like to just post it, but i better contact the author first.

after playing with it some more i have a nice shortcut bar beneath, before my standard plugins. this is really simple stuff for rltoday, there are some much more advanced mortscript-enhanced skins.

you can change all of that. the mortscript runnign in the background is updating those values in the registry only when the desktop is active, and the rltoday screen is updating on a specified interval. i might try to modify the mortscript when i get home.

I played with that and mine looked great....then I updated the ROM and forgot to backup the xml file....doh.
