Mobile IE Question
 

So I have tried IE, Opera Mini, Opera Mobile, Minimo, and Piscel and none of them work for my online classes because ecollege.com software requires version 5.5 or newer of IE.

So basically, how can I fake it? I know the phone can handle the website just fine, but the site is rejecting the phone. Is there a reg edit to make the phone "tell" the site it is using IE 6?

Go to the Picsel browser settings, Compatability.

You can set it to detect as IE 6.0

Tried that, didn't work. It didn't give me an error, it just failed to load the page.

There was a registry hack.

Do a google search for IE6 Hack PPC.

I haven't done it since I had PPC2003 and can't remember what to change in the registry.

I'm sure there is software that can do it for you too.
