Everything works, EXCEPT sending email. Anyone been through
 

Do I need server authentication, password, etc., for sending? How to get it?

Through pocket outlook I assume?

Yeah you need a pw to send/receive. You usually can just check the box to use the same login/pw for both send and receive.

What account is it? Pop3? Windows Live?

I'm getting pop3 (I think it is ?) from Yahoo Mail. That is where my email is, not sprint. But I have to use a server to send out, which is SMTP.SPRINTPCS.COM (from everything I've read)

Couple of things you can try:

You may have to specify ports for the smtp & pop 3 servers:

-example SMTP.SPRINTPCS.COM:965 (that is not the actual port, just an example). Google it and see if there are specific ports needed for yahoo pop3.

-Set a login and pw to be used for both send & receive.

-Try disabling SSL for both incoming & outgoing.
