PocketPCTechs Mogul Memory Upgrade? http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6...y-upgrade.html Quote:
I agree there should have been no doubt HTC should have but 125 mb or RAM in there. But the only time I have found myself in any danger of running out of memory is with using IE. For memory hog IE you need to check out Opra Mini browser. It is fast has a cool zoom feature and takes litterally only a miniscule of a fraction of memory when compared to IE viewing the same page. To get the scoop on it go here: opera mini 4 is AMAZINGLY FAST http://www.ppcgeeks.com/opera-mini-4...ast-t6293.html Memmaid can do a lot to free up mem and manage it. Here is also a good thread on mem management over XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=319580 |
I found an easy to use ram memory leak realease
I found an easy to use ram memory force release. http://www.oxios.com/memory/
This app is free and you can assign it to a hardware button and it will release the ram without messing up the internal environment of the wm6. This is way better than soft resetting all the time. You can free up more ram if you wait couple minutes apart. Note: if you used the app once don't use it few seconds after you just did because it will give you a -## mb release. http://www.oxios.com/images/memory/oxios_hibernate.gif Im going to stick on this one for now. I tried mem and sktools, yes those apps are good but too much work. One hardware button is better i think |
Yea...that is the one referenced in the XDA thread. It works great.

Just tired Oxios, Loving it.
Thanks. WR |
Oxios does work well. But we the consumer shouldn't be doing this. This out the box should have been fixed. :(
