Is anyone in the US selling this case?

I found it over at 4ustuff.com, looks like those guys just wholesale products though.. :|

I've never seen that one, but couldn't see myself getting used to it.

anyone know of anything out there that's similar?

I want a leather case, but don't mind a fully enclosing case, that has a belt LOOP (not clip). Does any of you long-timers in the PPC world know of a place with this sort of thing?

Guarantee if you drop it, the device will land on the front face corners.

That's just the way it always happens, it drops on the part you didn't cover.

i agree, i just want a similar case which protects the screen and lets me use the phone when my hands are dirty.

The problem is due to the slide-out keyboard, properly protecting this phone will be a BITCH. I've seen some solutions for other slide-out keyboard devices, and they were very limited (basically you had to peel back most of the protection if you wanted to access the keyboard, then put it back afterwards).

Honestly, I'd look for a nice pouch to put it in that covers the phone entirely, and then make sure you don't drop it when you pull it out to use it. Not exactly a good solution, but it'll be the best one IMHO.

Interesting design though on this - it looks like the entire bottom part of the phone (where the keyboard is) will be protected, and then you just open it up when you want to slide the keyboard out.

www.fortte.com you can customize your case to have a belt loop instead of a clip.

It doesn't seem like it would be that hard with 2 separate pieces of silicone.

You just leave a small space where the 2 pieces slide out so that the silicone doesn't rub against each other and stop it from opening properly.

I think it's more a matter of no one bothering to cast a mold specifically for the 6800 whatsoever...
