Coverart on WMP?
 

I have amogul running wm6. Does the default WMP display coverart embedded on the mp3's? My desktop computer WMP on XP does, but i can't seem to do it on the mogul.

is there a setting?

if not, does any audio player do it for wm6? htc audio manager doesn't seem to do it either.

Have you tried the Sprint Music store Java player? Not sure if it will work just asking if you have tried.

i don't think the sprint music store player was designed for anything else than sprint store bought songs.

The Sprint store will play mp3. I not sure if it will play mp4 or acc.

nevertheless, it takes too long to load..is there anything else? can you confirm wmp does or does not dusplay coverart embedded?

Yes, WMP on WM5&6 displays cover art. Make sure you set WMP as an option in your ActiveSync partnership.

thanks for the response but i don't get why the need to synchronize with wmp on activesync. what does that do?

i don't think wmp works with embedded coverart but with downloading of external picture files from internet.

any ppc audio player that dislays embedded id3 coverart?

That's correct. First you have to create or have WMP-PC fetch your cover art then sync your playlist over to your device. I believe CorePlayer displays embedded album art.

I am running WM5 on a Wx and can get cover art to display. I use WM11 on my desktop...download...then right click the blank album pic..."update album info"..at that point the cover usually displays. Then I drag the album over to my SD card that shows in WM11. Allow the synch to complete...all done.
