This is for n00b's that keep pming about my Today screen, so here is a quick how to....
Apps list HTC HOME (6 button version) : To install this just copy the cab file over and run it HTC HOME (3 button version) : To install this just copy the cab file over and run it
To install this theme, just unzip the file and place the .tsk file in your windows directory.. Go to Start, Settings and then Today. The theme should appear on the list of themes HTC Audio Manger : To install this just copy the cab file over and run it (There is a way to have audio manger only search a specific folder for ur music, say /Storage Card/My Documents/Music, but thats a reg hack and can be saved for another day when i have time. Unless someone else knows how to do it and wants to write the how to..) Reg Edit For Audio Manager To Search Specific Folder
Need a reg editor for this Code:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\AudioManager\Config |
Well done evilecho.
For anyone using a Telus P4000 with WM6.0 the registry is a bit different. To fix the AudioManager error you go to: HKLM/HTC/Music Plg-In and change the value from 2 to 1 Dave |

So how do you get the HTC Audio manager to associate with the Audio tab on HTC Home?
|
And what's the right dailer pad for this theme?
|
I know this HTC Home Plugin was designed by Helmi, but any body know if the Icons that launch program folders is gonna be given more functionality? When you insert your desired Programs to launch the actual icon of the Program launches, but was wondering if color could be added to the other icons as well. If somebody knows how please PM me.

Also the .tsk files won't open on my 6700. My usb port on the device is not functioning or may be broken, so I have to email the .tsk files and open them via zip, but I keep getting an error message "The attatchment file type is of a format that may be harmful and messaging will not open this cab file" Any help would be appreciated.

Black Theme
Where exactly does the black theme "HTC New Default.tsk" need to be placed? i've tried multiple folders, and have restarted my mogul. However everytime i go to the settings and click on today the new theme doesnt pop up.

then, go to your settings>today, and it should be available as a theme... |
yes, it goes in the windows folder
that is all btw, thanks for the simple, yet wonderful noob guide! |
htc home location
Noob question.
Is there a way to move htc home down without just putting today plugin over it. ie. move htc down today screen by pixels. I ask cause most of the theme pics i use get covered up by home clock. hate to put so much "valuable" time trying to photoshop a nice theme together and have it covered by home plugin. Using no LG no bottom bar app, great but usually all you can see is ass on my screen. Not that i dont like to look at a great a@@ but im more of an artistic nude connoisseur. ;) |

When i access the activesync i hit explore to open the folder, I open "My Device" and place "HTC New Default.tsk" in that area. I then access the today option...and its still not there. I've tried this with multiple files i've found from different sites/locations still with no success... |

*note* you DO NOT need this theme for the audio manager to work |
