Anyone using deepfish?

I really want to use deepfish with my 6800 but the beta has disappeared from the internet(s). Does anyone have the cab file? would it even work?

You need an activation code in order to use. Only way is to sign up at the beta site and see if they release more codes.

i dont think you can sign up anymore.

picsel browser is awesome! i have yet to try deepfish but i understand the technologies are similar.

I cannot resist, where are these other internet(s) you speak of?

deepfish is not that great of a app yet. When i used it i couldn't log into a forum i tried it once and didn't work. it is a good start could use some work. Pages load fast and then you just zoom to parts you want which is pretty cool. i just use PIE i like it saves cookies and works fine.

I keep seeing people talking about picsel browser, but i cant find out how to download it, or if it is available to the general public. I checked there website but dont see any downloads. Can anybody point me in the correct direction?

youll have to search for a cab file that was extracted from a samsung device as it was never publically available

or i had good luck at http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...=277812&page=3

Deepfish is a good browser!!

I currently have 4 browsers installed on my 6800 and picsel on my ip-830w

Opera Mobile
Opera Mini
PIE
Deepfish

And out of all of them, Deepfish is the best graphics wise, as well as ease of use.
Althoe if opera did not distort the graphics on the zoom, it would be a good browser.

Picsel however is the easiest browser to use.

By the way ... Picsel is Awesome from what I have used it for so far.

Kinda slow for pages with a lot of graphics. But good all in all.

Anyone know how to go forward and back (between pages)?

I hate deepfish. It would just close randomly then when my phone is on sleep and i turn it back on it would just pop up out of nowhere i didnt even assign it to any hardware button. i prefer opera mini even if i have to go to java first before i could launch it.

gameboy213 08-07-2007 03:17 PM

I love Piscel as well... except for the memory errors all the time....
Opera Mini is pretty great too.

You don't have to launch Java first. There's a hack out there that will automatically launch Opera and you can even map it to the IE hard button.
