Strange shut down after unlocking mogul
 

This just doesn't make sense to me. I unlocked my 6800 (using Olipro 2.40) so I could do a radio upgrade in the future. Small steps here for me. Always make sure the last step worked before doing the next or you most surely will get hosed,
Well after the unlock the phone now shuts itself off and the only way to get it to restart is to remove the battery.
If I touch the power button at all the screen goes dark and the top right led flashes green. nothing except a battery pull will make it start again. It also radomly shuts itself down.
I've done a hard reset and played with all the backlight and power settings. No joy. I hope not to have to mess with the registry over this but I will if I have to.
Any help out there?

Edit: Have put phone in bootloader and it does say Olipro 2.40 so phone is unlocked according to everything I've read on this site. Big thanks here BTW. had a 6700 earlier you helped me get to WM6!

so, you are running stock radio and rom but with the phone unlocked?

that may be your problem

Why would that be the problem?
Is there some switch in the registry that says unless the phone is locked start powering off at wierd times?

Edit: and yes everything is stock. I haven't changed a thing except unlocking it. I was going to change the radio rom sometime this weekend so I can access the GPS.

edit again: Have relocked phone this morning to 1.06 will see if that solves problem.
