Titan with a Touch Pro screen hacked onto it...?
 

Anyone heard of it being done?

I have one of each...

When I think about it... I miss the Titan's buttons and heft. I wish they'd stop making the damn things SMALLER!

I also have the extended battery for the Titan, for what that's worth... the Touch Pro battery never makes it to lunchtime for me on the Bluetooth.

And the Titan gets a WAAY better signal, phone, data AND GPS...

If the Titan just had 640x480, I'd be a happy camper...

RAM would be nice, but I can live with it as is.

i also miss mine, i used to have 2 of those and both were rock solid phone, somewhat better than mine diamond.!

I hear you. I'm about to upgrade to the TP & I already know I'm gonna miss my Titan's bulk & whatnot. Which is why I'm not doing an insurance exchange or anything- if I end up hating the TP I have my ol' reliable to fall back on. I wish there was a way to add more RAM & a VGA screen to the Titan too. That's really the ONLY reason I'm even upgrading :/

No it is not possible because of the different drivers for each screen. and it would look stupid. They are different sizes.

Man I agree 100%.

I have two highly customized xv6800's (Titan/Mogul's) at home & if I could transplant my TouchPro screen & available memory into the older phones I would do it in a heartbeat.

I miss the size & hardware buttons terribly. I REALLY REALLY liked having a dedicated hardware button for inet, messaging & the start menu.

Umm, not. The screens are diff by like less than a quarter inch... in fact... the Titan is actually larger... so the TP screen would fit just fine... and the tiny bit of excess space is covered by the flange on the Titan... which I like because it protects the screen.

you know, the TP looks slick as all hell... it really is a work of art... but... I dont think it shoudl have left the showroom. It's like a prototype car that shows with 20-inch wheels but debuts on the lot with 17(s)... The 20s looked nice, but they just werent practical...

<sigh>

It would look sharp and the way its all modular (WinMo platform), I bet it would work easier than some think...

Ok so a QVGA and VGA arnt going to be enchangeable. And the drivers wont work.
