How to disable start up sound (on Windows Mobile screen)
 

I was wanting to know if it possible to disable/delete the Startup sound when turning on your phone. To be quiet honest, I find it utterly useless and maybe, just maaaaybe, it could make the load up a bit faster? Any ideas

PS - I thought it would be under

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
-Software
-HTC
-Startup Animation

and then delete WAVfile , but no go.....

Go to:

HKCU\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction\CDMA\FlightM odeOnOFF

And change EnableSound to 0

ANyone who doesn't feel comfortable playing with the registry can just copy and paste a silent wav file named "Phoneon.wav" into the \Windows directory as well.
