unread mail messages

about a week or so ago my phone decided to start displaying that i had 1 more unread message than i actually did. a little after that it started displaying that i had 2 more unread messages. has anyone ever heard of this? i've deleted both accounts separately and then together and those 2 unread messages still stay showing. this comes up in dwizzy's iphone theme and ac's s2u2, so i'm thinking it's something with the phone not one of the programs. any help is greatly appreciated.

Well, I don't use nor have even seen "dwizzy's iphone theme" but mine has been displaying 1 unread sms message for about 3 months. I've never been able to get rid of it either.

Send yourself a voice message by going into your voice mail box and navigating to the option where you can dial a number and send a voicemail. It will send a message to your box and when you retrieve it it will go away. I also had this go away by asking the customer service rep to send me a message and it went away. Not sure why this is different from other people sending a message but it works. |

actually i found what it was. it's not sms or voicemail, but email. for some reason the "outlook email" had 2 welcome emails sitting in it even though i don't use it and haven't for a while.
