Asuron, XV6800 replacement

Hey guys this is Austin, I have had my HTC XV6800 for about 1 year and a half(Same thing as Sprint Titan). I have been having problems, when people call me it doesn't ring anymore or light up, like if i hit the power button to take it out of stand by mode to check emails, etc. It will start ringing from a call from 1 hour ago, anyways I might call asuron IO think thats how its spelled to replace my phone, do you think they will have my phone in stock or I could get the HTC touch pro?

Re: Asuron, XV6800 replacement

definitly ask for it but compare all the things they have in common and say you are used to these fetures for example the windows mobile the slide out quartey keybord micro sd memory card if you don't have a micro sd card on yours tell him you have a mac pc and can't sync so you have a card reader so you can transfer files only to a micro sd card etc.... don't worry it works I've done it ,worst that can happen they give you a diamond wich still is better than what you have now considering you phone is starting to die .... let me know how it works out I'd wish you luck but with a coach like me you won't be needing it lol!!! if all else fails call retentions at sprint and say your gonna cancel your service then they will call asurion and tell them to help you but I don't think you'll need too remember don't threaten to leave unless your left with no choice this is your ace in the hole

apoirier, you have to consider that JoePurtoRico is a SPRINT customer. You are a VERIZON customer. Verizon is usually pretty staunch in their contracts with Asurion. Verizon customers dont get the same treatment as Sprint when they contact asurion. You will likely get a refurbed replacement 6800. Asurion rebrands the verizon logo on the phone (with a cheap sticker). I have never had any success "sweet talking" them into sending me a touchpro, or any other phone for the matter.

Yea but do you think if I say everything he told me it would work and if I say I really need that kind of phone for my business

woooow he does have a point I know for a fact asurion is out of those phone for sprint but not sure if they have the same supply for verizon I asume so because they both use the same company but hey the worst thing that can happen is you get your same phone but referb wich is like new IF..... they still have them in stock .....if they don't you will get something better I know that for sure ......

Asuron replaced my XV6800 with HTC Touch Pro

Hi Guys

I am a Verizon customer and had issues with my XV6800. On Saturday, 03/28/09 I filed the claim online with Asurion and got immediate confirmation that they would send me an Audiovox XV6850 (which is the HTC Touch Pro). On Tuesday 03/31/09 I got the new HTC Touch Pro delivered to my home.

I had to pay $50 for the transaction; which is an awesome deal. The Touch Pro is way better than my old XV6800. Not to mention that it Verizon did not release this phone until today 04/10/08 and it's pretty expensive.

My advice, just do it. You have nothing to loose. My experience with Asurion has always been 1st class.
