VZ6800 not ringing after reflash
 

Greetings all. I have a problem I have yet to resolve, I NEED HELP!

I reflashed my verizon 6800 successfully except it no longer rings. I can tell Im receiving a call, the incoming call icon is displayed. The screen even turns on if the device is off, but it does not ring, or vibrate. I am allowed to answer the calls when they come in, but I need to be looking at the device at the time...

It does beep to let me know I missed a call. And vibrate.

I upgraded the radio via oilpro and uploaded a ROM from PPC kitchen

This is frustrating. No solution.

Can anyone point me in the right general direction?

I have tried every sound file extension on both main and memory card storage. I have tried just vibrate. Still nothing, no ringing.

I noticed that after a call come in the volume silder on the phone side is all the way down. It sets itself down after I set it all the way up. I even tried adjusting the slider when I get a call. Bubkis, zilch, nada..... ahhh!

Hi,why not check the settings on your phone, lest you changed the profile of your phone?

Did you use the Kitchen? Maybe something isn't right in your selections.

If you used the kitchen and you selected the iBliss ringer that would be the problem.... happened to me also

Yeah it certainly sounds like a OS/ROM issue to me also.
