HTC home plug in and customizer simple question..
 

I searched but the answers are mixed..

Can I install HTC home plugin v1.0 or v2.1 on my Sprint Mogul with W6.1 or will they crash the phone? Also can I install HTC home customiser on this phone or will it crash it?

I was about to install them when I noticed a bunch of people complaining that it froze there phone and then a search reveal mixed answers to my questions.

Anyway I have a basic Sprint Mogul with windows 6.1. The phone has nothing uploaded on it at this point. Its just your basic Mogul 6800.

i never had a problem with 1.0, but Home Plugin 2.0 would crash my phone consistently, not sure if the 2.1 update fixed it, but 2.0 was no good on my mogul.

HTC Home and the customizer work fine, HHC needs to be installed first, then HHC will ask to download the plug-in. Tap yes. Some of the .cab install for the home plug-in are for 6.0 and will lock up.

Do I have to install this on my phone or can I get away with installing this on my memory card? Also can I install the v2.1 or should I just stick with v1.0?

Install Home Customizer 1.0 to the device memory and follow the prompts.

Thanks finaly got the nerve to install it. Well more like proper info I didnt want to just install **** wast more memory then I had to or lock the phone up and ended up getting another refurb from sprint. So far its going smoothly its not quite done yet.
