Storage Card not installed?
 

When I go check my devices storage card memory, it says that it is not installed. I thought that it came preinstalled. Has anyone else had this problem, or knows how to fix it? How do I turn the memory card on?

Finally, how do you store things to memory card instead of the hard drive? like with media syncing?

So no one knows how to get the microSD card to work?

Not trying to be an ass or "bust your nuts" but have you flipped the phone over to see if there is a memory card in the slot? :)

Mine came with a 512MB card and if I remember correctly it was installed already. (And its REALLY small!)

Yes, it is in the microSD slot on the bottom of the Mogul. I thought that it came preinstalled as well. However, when I check my memory, then go to storage card, it says not installed.

So, yours worked perfectly right out of box?

I got it to work now. I had to eject the card while the power was on and on the storage card screen and then put it back in. Don't know why I had to do that, but it seems to be working now.

Should have come in the box with the Mogul. This is where you put it in the Mogul

Its small so its a little hard to install just push it all the way in till the spring catches. To remove the card just push it back in a little and the spring will push it out. The card goes in face up or SD insignia towards the screen side of the mogul. It can only go in one way so don't force it if it doesnt feel right turn it over. Once installed it should show in file explorer as storage card. I hope this helps 8)

I haven't searched yet, but how do you get your media to sync to the storage card instead of the device?

Nevermind, that sync now works when I plug it into my computer. I guess the storage card is working, knock on wood.

Windows media player latest version I believe it is Media Player 11 will detect your storage card on your Mogul and give you the ability to drag and drop the songs or albums you want to Sync than you just start sync and the files are transferred. Its a free download find it Here <-link
