I don't see whats better abou this than google. To me its a bunch of extra junk that impairs usability. And I tried using it for directions once and ended up in a residential neighborhood when I was trying to get to Best Buy.... I used google to leave the neighborhood and get to Best buy and installed Live Search promptly after that :(

Actually it's one handed operation is superior to Goggle Maps...inputting a city by just clicking on Region>State>First Letter of City>>City is genius.

I'll give you the directions as not great...

has anyone else noticce that the keyboard doesnt work to input text?

for some reason the slide keyboard for my is stuck in the function mode. all i can input in numbers and the symbols. i have to use the touch keyboard to enter abc text..

anyone else have this issue with the program?

I can confirm that the slide out keyboard does not work.

Slide out Keyboard and on screen keyboard both work fine for me.

Also, Google's traffic sucks! They are no where near the coverage in the bay area (where google lives) that Live has and the app is 1.2 the size.

I can confirm keyboard stuck in function mode with Live Search here as well.

The program has potential but there are quite a few of the usual Microsoft UI blunders that keep it from beating Google Maps. The movie function is the best thing about it.
