WhoNeedsAniPhone.com - A Great New Project for WM Devices

Hey everyone. Check out this site and see all the progress that is being made on this project. Here is information about the project and it's goals. Sounds like it will be a great project to test for. This is more like a "big skin", to my understanding, that works with Wisbar. I sent an e-mail for more information and will post back on here when I get more info. To sign-up to test, send an e-mail to contact@whoneedsaniphone.com. The forums are located here

Sounds cool. My wife would like this. Might keep an eye on the development of this.

hope they didn't spend too much money on the registration. Apple is going to shut that site down.

I hope not. But this is what their site says...

We also want to let everyone know that the intent of this project IS NOT TO DUPLICATE THE IPHONE INTERFACE... we just want to take some of the principles of that interface and bring them to Windows Mobile users! One of the big keys here is operating the phone with just your finger... I have always hated having to pull out the stylus to do certain things... bigger buttons and more scrolling without scroll bars and stuff like that...

Most of the "flick" type features of the iPhone interface don't require multi-touch... actually come to think of it... resizing photos and zoom one web pages may be the only 2 things you need multi-touch for on the iPhone... so we dont see many problems having things like flick scrolling and stuff like that!

I have been following this one for a while too, and it looks like they keep making process on it which is cool.
I think Apple will take offense to it for sure, so I hope they hurry!

I emailed them a few days ago but have not heard back from them. For everyone who has emailed regarding being a beta tester, has there been any response?
