Convert to another carrier
 

Looking for info regardless of device but I am wanting to know the correct way to flash a device to another carrier. No special upgrades involved. Just the correct way to say convert an Alltel device to U.S. Cellular factory ROM.

just did that
find the US cellular settings (they're posted around here) in EPST
flash to a US cellular rom (I haven't been able to get stock working in imcokeman's user list under his mogul files, but dcd will work just fine)
get US cellular's PRL and update it to the device
call us cellular and ask them about a phone you bought online and you want it added. Give hex esn and say its mogul...it'll be added but that's the only way I know of
I did it just last week
but you will also need a set of DMU keys to upload too
my recommendation is to grab QPST and use it to your hearts content
the other ways of doing it is illegal and not to be discussed here
