whatd u use to change the read only properties? used total commander, wont work.

o btw, the sprint default gif is 37 frames, 0.1 second each. 3.7 sec total.

Basically I used Total Commander removed the read only properties then I copied and pasted using windows explorer on my pc.. I did notice that in total commander the first time after I removed the read only properties... when i went to confirm that the setting had changed it did not, but on my second attempt I tried again.. didn't check again if file properties had taken effect and just copied n pasted using windows explorer on my pc..

Now regarding the fps.. yes mine is only 3 it was like almost 5am when i started and did not want make anything fancy or what ever, I just wanted to see if it was possible.. Although I might change the startup animation later :lol:

Btw I have a flash version of this much higher quality.. how ever I had few problems importing it into Adobe Flash and a few players also had trouble playing it.. only player that would play it was GOM player..

very nice! the black sprint animation works like a charm. to make things easier for myself, i renamed the file to SPCS_startup2.gif so all i have to do is add the 2 to change the file without overwriting it.

now is there any way to change the very first Sprint screen in the beginning?

i want to change it to an HTC logo or something. thanks!

i was just thinking how hilarious it would be if you brought your phone into the sprint store and you had meatspin as the startup animation, LOL

I have not really looked in to it.. beeen busy here @ home .. but like it said it is possible.. the gif's are there in the windows directory.. also check my first post if your ok with checkin the registry, you can see what gif the registry points to .. for the first image.. atm my bro on net on my mogul lol

If you don't mind, could you post step by step how you do this? I'm having a bit of trouble. I'm not sure as to where to take off the read-only property is. And then I'm not sure either of how to put in the gif or where to put it exactly. Could you please help?? Lol. Thanks!
