I can't seem to make a Hotmail account?
 

Why is this?

It asks for POP3 and such.. Can't I just put my Email?

Why is this so frustrating?

Can someone help?

Hi there,

Microsoft's Hotmail service runs through the HTTP protocol. This is why you can't set it up under the regular mail screens, as they support only POP3 and IMAP protocols.
What this boils down to is that you simply have to set up your hotmail using the 'windows live' program that probably came with your phone, not the 'mail' settings. All it asks you for then is your hotmail address and your password. Nice and simple!

You dont need Windows Live Mobile although you can use that if you wanna access your mail via HTTP server. However, if you wanna use like in something like Outlook then use software from seven.com. It will do what you want. I use it and have been for quite some time. They also have thier own forums over there so you can read up on it if you have any questions.

You welcome, I love it and it works all the time. Anytime I get mail on the HTTP server it comes right to my phone. You can also schedule your checks incase you dont want it to do it in the middle of the night.
