Button question

I have the mogul working and I have not customized a rom yet so I have the latest sprint rom. There is a button under the wheel on the left side of the phone. That button says ok with a circle around it. When I am scrolling with the wheel and then I click the okay button that is under the wheel on the side, instead of selecting the highlighted item, it brings up the start menu. Is there any way to map that button back to normal function of the ok button?

Can't you just press the wheel in to select the item?

I think you are supposed to press the wheel to select. The ok button should minimize the program, that's the way it works on Palm's also.

I know this is the way the manufacturer intended the button to function, but you would think they would label it something else. I'm inclined to agree that "OK" isn't very intuitive.

That button is listed in the button settings. And you are correct the wheel does push in. I got this from asurion as a replacement for a 6700. You think I would have enough sense to download and read the manual first! :) Thanks for the info!!

Real men don't read manuals, we spend 3 hours trying to figure it out, then we consult the manual and figure it out 2 minutes later.

Yup, I never read it until there is a problem then I have to unwrap it.
