Answer button not working

for some odd reason, my answer button on my phone is not responding. it's lit up green but I cant answer calls with it or bring up the keypad. I can still make calls by using my contacts. I even rebooted.

I have ROM 3.35.NO2.5060 and radio 3.35.04.

I do have the protection services but I have upgraded it so if I do have to take it it, I guess I would have to just 'lose' it somehow unless someone has finally found the factory ROM for a USCC 6800.

Re: Answer button not working

I doubt it is software related. I am betting for a hardware issue.

yea, probably. I just did a hard reset and nothing. I am able to bring up the phone app via the start menu and answer with the left soft key. if I didnt upgrade, I'd be taking it back to USCC but I dont know if they'd take it back under the protection plan since I upgraded to 6.1.

You should flash back to the stock ROM. If you can find one. Its listed on the ROMS list but there is no link.

Try
ftp://ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Titan%20Dumps/USCCRomDump.zip

EDIT: Nevermind seems to be only 10mb, that can't be right.

You may contact user Maverick351ci, supposedly he provided a dump.

I think though, that since I have the 3+ radio, I cant go back to the original radio anyways, right? I'm thinking I might have to accidentally drop it in the toilet. lol.

Yes you can go back you just have to follow the right steps or you will brick the phone. They can be found with searching.
