TNZ Titan running Sprint ROM FIX

Not sure if this has been coverd in the forums but I couldnt find the info on how to fix my TNZ Titan after I botched the upgrade with running customizations.

Carrier - TNZ
PPC-6800 (Titan)
Boot Loader – OliPro 2.70
Rom Version – 3.56.651.0 (Sprint ROM)
Radio Version – 3.42.02

Rom update newbie here who did everything wrong to start!!!

Background history – I Updated my TNZ Titan to the sprint rom. The website of where I got the rom from did not explain the implications of doing this update. It did however say on the site that the ROM is compatible with the TNZ network.

DONT LET CUSTOMIZATIONS RUN !!!! I would had saved myself a lot of heart ache and countless hours trolling the internet for information. I cannot express enough about not running the customization setup from sprint.

This is how I fixed my TNZ Titan to get data access back (I take no responsibility of the following settings for if they don’t work)

Get into ESPT edit configuration (I am not going to get into how to get the unlock code)

!!Before changing settings write down all the current values!!

-NAM Settings-

MIN2 - 173
MCC Code – 530 (New Zealand)
MNC Code – 02 (Telecom CDMA Network) or 05 (Telecom UTMS Network) Both of these work for me

-Security-

HDR AN AUTH Id – (your ESN)@evdo.jamamobile.co.nz
HDR AN AUTH Password – [blank]
PPP USER ID – mobile@jamamobile
PPP PASSWORD - telecom

-M.IP Settings-

MIP_MODE – Simple IP Only
Dormant Handoff Optimization - Enable

-M.IP Default Profile-

NAI – (your ESN)@evdo.jamamobile.co.nz
Home Address – 0.0.0.0
Primary HA Address 255.255.255.255
Secondary HA Address 255.255.255.255

The checks I have done after the settings is connecting to the internet and voice dialling to a friend. If you get any voice prompt saying if you are a visitor to NZ then check your NAM settings. If no Internet access then check your CDMA and M.IP settings. These current settings are working for me after no internet access on my titan.

I hope this helps any fellow TNZ Titan users.

Tony.

Re: TNZ Titan running Sprint ROM FIX

Right so I cooked my own rom and used the TNZ carrier file to be able to run EPST. I have edited the settings to match the ones you have here but it just refuses to connect to the internet which leads me to believe that some of the settings in the default file are wrong. Is there any chance you can post all of the settings on the pages relevant to the internet connectivity stuff since just those you have listed here do not seem to be enough :/
