Mogul on AMPD network
 

Hi Guys,

I managed to get the mogul to work on Amp'd Network but the problem i have now is i can get it to connect on 1x Data but can't get it to connect on EVDO, i have tried changing the username and password settings in ##PST# and ##DATA# but that does not work. I also got it connected to QPST and changed the settings to the same as my 6700 in which everything worked but still no success on the mogul. My theory is that my HA Shared Secret and AAA Shared Secret is not correct, any one have any insights on that?

I tried OTA programming with *228 but OTA does not seem to change any of the data field. only the NAM,MDN fields are changed when OTA programming.

i've been learning alot about CDMA phones lately and a great site to find things on www.mobile-files.com.

but i think you need to input a valid a-key into your mogul to get it to work on AMP'd ev-do service. and the a-key has to match the ESN. i think thats what has to be done.

Where can i find an akey generator? everything is working fine on my mogul with ampd service just that i cant connect on EVDO sure sucks cause of the speed. Thanx

Didn't AMP'd file chap-11? Why bother?

P Channel 1 & 2
S Channel 1 & 2
Country Code and Network Code Exactly as 6700

EVDO Requires Correct PPP Profile to be ENabled at least one I think.

Have u used QPST to Access nvm Folder ???

Is the Method for E*SN is same as 6700

I have changed the all the settings to be exact of my 6700 except for the HA Shared Secret Code, AAA Shared Secret Code as i dont know what they are. I also connected it to QPST and moved the settings over as well, but the NVM Folder is locked and i believe that is a driver problem but not exactly sure. Any other ideas?

If you can not Accecc NVM Folder then How you changed those Parameter have you used any other software ??

You can get into the Service Programming portion of the phone and program in those information and thats how i got it to connect to AMPD service. That only needs the SPC to get into and which i activated my phone to sprint for 1 day to get the SPC code.

I tried the CDMA Workshop Demo and it couldnt read the mogul at all, but i guess its because of Demo unless some one has a full version to test it out is only way to find out. I just sure wish some one had a registered copy of the A-Key calculator and help me out a bit.

Just tried CDMA WOrkshop again with the 6700 drivers and it could not read the A Key, SSD_A, SSD_A with a failed msg. thats my progress for now.

I have mailed to CDMAWorkshop Company they have answered me like this

"Universal EFS method" and "Universal RAM method" can be used to read SPC

First Run DMRouter.exe from \Windows Folder then Click to Start

after that Connect the Phone to PC and Install Qualcomm Diagnostic Modem

Search for diagnostic modem in Hardware Box and see which Com Port it is Using, If Larger than COM8 change it to COM1 to COM8 and Restart PC and again Connect the Phone in Same Manner

Start CDMAWorkshop and Set Proper Com Port and Click to Connect then Press QCDm Mode and Click Read, then go to Screen which have SPC Box and Click to Different Method and try to Read SPC from it.

Change Bluetooth headphones from mono (default) to stereo:

Unlock Phone

-> Change the value data from 2 to 1

-> Change the value data from 16 to 40

-> Change the value data from 128 to 144

-> Add new value "0000101b": Dword = 1
Close registry editor and soft reboot.


Amend or Edit the Above Registry Section then Reboot then try to see the NVM Folder using BitPim of CDMAWare

hi, did the same thing but i'm on Cricket, and my internet works fine ; does your connection settings revert back sprint after you change them?

is it possible to use or possibly rewrite the programs that came with the new rom update to unlock the spc code for the Titan 6800(http://www.america.htc.com/support/m...downloads.html).I know that they check and rewrite the spc somehow

Anybody here got the mogul for their verizon service and was able to get EVDO to connect? i have tried all i can think of but still cant connect on EVDO but 1x data works only.

there is only 1 way to get evdo to work and that is u have to have 3 files from a working 6800 that currently has evdo data and has to remain on the network.. its the same thing for the 6700 the 3 files are in the vnm 1 is security the other is data and the other i think is called htc. there all nvm files and with these files data will function as evdo.....because with these files the phone will be already provisioned. and wont have to do the ota steps.

NVM Folder is Disabled in 6800 We can see even in QPST Latest Bild 2.7.263 after Punching right SPC.

I think I should Try QXDM 3.9 Software rather then QPST (Still not Sure why NVM is not visible)
