Could I please get my questions answered?

I started one thread and did not get my main questions answered. Two people responded and I thanked them. I also went to XDA's site and now none of their Wiki's will open. So I'm back here.

I know what a ROM is and what it does, but I do not know how a new ROM will affect my phone, operating system, memory, utilities and apps.

What do people think of TouchFlow 3D running on a Mogul? Is it a memory hog?

Here are the questions from my other thread:

a simple search will answer your question. theres threads on your answers here. diff. roms have diff. apps. speed will be better, mem. will be better. phone overall will be better. total plus to flash your titan.

that's a tall question. A ROM affects *all* of those. Each ROM has various tweaks and versions of windows mobile OS. They can have any number of of default programs or exclude some junk you may need, plus added applications that you may find useful.

As far as touchflow 3d...you must mean 2D (as 3D doesn't run on our phone), it's nice, but it does take memory and if you dont' really need your today screen decked out, then I guess it could be a memory hog.

General rule: if you are going to try flashing your phone, don't be overly attached to your data. Like my signature says "one more flash..." You may find something you like right away, but almost always, you will become addicted to chasing down the white whale of a perfect rom.

You need to determine what works best with your daily needs. if something slows your phone (i've had tons a ROMS that I flashed and didn't like), then move on.

Like I said...tall question.

Darren,

Thanks for responding. Which ROMs would be the most stable when I start my search?

if your looking for memory nuerom3 is the best. There are some nice tf2d roms out there but in my opinion they are memory hogs. depends on how many things you have running at the same time.

Jacksplat,
Thanks for responding.

Could you direct me as to which set of ROMS would be the most stable when running WinterFace Suite, Opera, SKTools, Resco Radio and Sprint Navigation?

I have looked at other threads and saw many diffferent builds and I'm not sure what I'm looking for.

Dude, I'm amazed you got any responses. You made an initial post, didn't get what you wanted/needed, so you decided to double post. Forum etiquette no-no. Have some patience. You WILL get your questions answered, especially since you were able to post them in a coherent and literate style, unlike some we see around here.

Dude?, Dude, Dude! (from Baseketball/love that movie),

On the board for one day and I manage to flag down a Mod. Okay, I confess. I was getting a "little" impatient. It was the view to post ratio, for the thread, that got me. There is no "Flash ROMing for Idiots." Please accept my apology.

With the kind people who have responded, I think I can began my search. I'll watch the double posting and thanks again.
