The last two rebates overlapped by a few days.

I just pulled the trigger yesterday and added a SERO line to an existing
F + C account. Telesales couldn't see/do on THEIR system anything but $399, but did go to Sero site via straight internet, saw $288.99 and gave me $111 account credit ( I hope! )
I saw that 6800 was on the May rebate for $100 because phone orig sched for May release, but that expired BEFORE phone was released on
6-18.
My Questions: Have you seen or do you know for sure that the 6800 is on the next cycle of rebates? Do you think I'm better off cancelling this order and placing a new order next sunday, 7/15, or just continuing this order and fighting for the add'l 100 rebate?

Hello to all from a n00b to this great site :D

That is basically what I am asking too.
I hope that the next rebate period will include the date I purchased my PPC6800, but I don't know yet.

its usually a max of 3 days. so it would be 7/12 at the earliest

I would love to but I cannot post links yet, which is why one of my newbie guides isn't up yet either.

These are official sprint mail in rebates.

Right now the mogul is $288.99. If you paid $399.99 call them up asap and get that changed. I just did, and the regular customer service rep and supervisor would not change it, I had to speak to the people who deal with cancelations.

Ok back to the mail in rebate, there is a sprint site that has rebates which you print and mail in, I am guessing on top of this we will get an additional $100 - $200 off the phone with teh rebate.
It is usually $150, so we will have the Mogul for $138.99 once this rebate comes out.

Please make sure that you mention that this is for SERO plan customers, not all of us are on SERO (my Corp. plan is about the same, not worth it for the slight extra savings to get a new phone number)... we obviously don't want people who aren't eligible for the new $288.99 SERO rate to pester the customer service people when they aren't even on the SERO plan anyways.

Good point, I edited the post to include that it applies to SERO only.

Well the 6800 is suppose to be released to the "general public" July 15th. The new iteration of rebates is coming out sometime around the 15th. One would assume that it would include the 6800. Am I certain? No, but for previous new phones, sprint has always included them for rebates. As a previous poster mentioned, the 6800 was to be released in May and it was on the May rebate list. Just keep your order, and if the new iteration of rebates includes the 6800, exchange it. You'll get an invoice with the proper date.

Thanks for the response. you're suggesting I NOT cancel my order, which should ship tomorrow then? Can you spell out the "exchange" process? can it be done in store if 6800 is released or do I have to send it back? Sorry for so many questions, but I want to play the game of Sprint proprerly

Hi everyone, PPCgeeks newbie here.
Question - I'm probably going to get a Mogul from Sprint this week - I'm renewing my contract and assuming it'll cost me $399, which hurts a lot. I'm reading all this stuff about tbe Mogul being in "the next round of rebates from Sprint". Where do I check these rebates? Do they only apply to SERO customers? Could I expect to use that rebate to lower the $399 price?

Thanks for any info.
