Re: Is Sprint still giving out refur'ed MOGULs?
I had a rep tell me that they do not have them out in the store but they still sell them if you ask for them. Maybe a store by store thing. Perhaps when the Pro2 comes out they will replace the current phones with the Pro's.

Re: Is Sprint still giving out refur'ed MOGULs?
My email to Dan was as follows....
Dan, I have been a dedicated Sprint customer all my life. I would, however, like to voice a concern of mine which I believe to be held by many other people in regards to the PPC-6800. Many customers who purchased this product are extremely unsatisfied. For a phone that costs the customer over $500, one would expect this to be a 'top of the line' phone. I recognize Sprint is a business meant to sell a service, and does not design phones. But, with this in mind, it is Sprints responsibility to make sure that the flagship phones it markets with their service and carries to sell in its stores works properly. The HTC Mogul has inherent problems directly from the factory, and refurb Moguls are a joke. The fact that these phones are still being replaced with refurbs astonishes many valuable, dedicated Sprint customers who purchased this phone. Lots of these people are quite angry, and have gone through many refurbs of this particular model. I, myself, have gone through about 4 of them now if I am not mistaken. One of the replacements I received was even brand new, and still broke promptly. I refuse to accept another. I have read many articles on the internet of people who have replaced the Mogul well over 10 times with refurbs. Dan, I respectfully ask you to please discontinue refurb replacement of this phone, and give the customers a viable platform to move to. This would create extreme customer loyalty and satisfaction. We know in today's day and age customer loyalty is extremely important in a corporations business model. I know these customers feel rather pushed around, abused, misinformed, and I would almost venture to say cheated. They were promised a great phone for a high price, and were given an extremely underpowered piece of equipment with many factory issues. Please, as CEO, do your part to correct this issue and bring closure and happiness to the entire Mogul user base. I know that I would keep using Sprint for many years to come if such a thing were to occur. But I can promise you this, if I have to spend another $500 on a phone, I will be switching carriers. What we have had to endure with these phones warrants swift and just action, and I leave it to you to figure a viable solution out. Thank you. |

Re: Is Sprint still giving out refur'ed MOGULs?
i have gone through 18 moguls within the last 2 months
18 is not exageerating its the exact number the one i got now just likes to press buttons on its own like a ghost phone well i have been given the option y a sprint store to pick any phone i would like in their entire lineup except the Pre. I had the Touch Pro but too many issues with screen blacking out and the keyboard. I am disputing whether to get Brand New Touch Pro or the New Blackberry Tour? I am probably going to make the move to the Tour. |
