Text Program
 

I don't like the text messaging program on my 6800. Is there anyway I can get the phone to show messages to and from the same person in one continuous list like many other phones do.

Right now I have to go to the sent folder to see what I sent them and the in box to see what they have sent me.

What are the text messaging software can I put on this phone?

Either upgrade your rom to winmobile 6.1 or download pocketcm, it has a threaded text app.

Here is the official Sprint 6.1 ROM. If you are new to Windows Mobile, I personally think it would be best to start of with a stock ROM. There are many custom ROM's available in the Titan Upgrades forum, but if you are new, it will take some research and time to figure out what you are wanting. If you don't want to go the route of upgrading your ROM, you can do a google search for "cody threaded sms". It will give you sms like you are wanting with your current set up.

Edit: I apologize, but out of habit I assumed you are using a Sprint phone. You do not have your carrier listed in your profile, so the information regarding the stock ROM obviously may be inaccurate. The cody threaded sms will still work regardless though.

there is an update for the moguls on the htc website. it will allow you to update the ROM on your mogul. most of the moguls are running 6.0 but this will update it to 6.1. The IM style text messaging programs is included in this update. It will automatically fix it's self. It does erase everything on your phone though, so you will want to back up your files first.
