Are there any known side effects? I understand it remains an active process, but I'd imagine it's not a big drain on resources, is it?

Thanks again!

It doesn't appear to be a resource hog or have much impact on battery life. No side effect so far except that the orange charging LED may be delayed for 5 or 10 seconds when you first plug it in.

I'm using LED killer 3.1. It works really well except for when I receive a new e-mail, that damn light starts blinking again.

I've gone into start - settings - sounds & notifications - Notifications tab. I UN-checked "flash light for X" for the event messaging: new e-mail message. Every time a new mail comes in though, it blinks. Am I missing something obvious or am I just cursed?

htcnuts, is it blinking green or orange when a new message comes in?

i have 3.1 and the orange LED is blinking orange as i type.. not solid. i thought this was a fixed issue in 3.1 or did i miss a setting somewhere ha?

It will blink orange if you have a notification. If you have no notifications and its charging then it should not blink.

I haven't seen the blue LED mentioned in this thread for awhile. Any word on a version that would kill that off too? Or a version that is customizable to do whatever the user wants? I like to leave bluetooth on, so that light is just annoying.

I know it's a free app you've generously given us, so I'm not really complaining. Just wanted to see if it's still in progress. Otherwise I may have to see how easily my Java skills port over to C++ WM skills. :)

thanks a lot, the led was getting irritating

Uh, is bluetooth off? That will stop the blue light from blinking. As far as I know, LEDKiller 3.1 does not stop the blue like. I'd sure like it to though.
