WM6.1 SUCKS on Mogul... I need a better Rom...
 

I currently am running ROM 3.56.651.0 and WM6.1...

The phone loves to lock up randomly since I've upgraded it from WM6.0, however 6.0 was a memory hog. I currently use the Outlook syncing with 3 IMAP accounts, 1 POP account and 1 Exhange. I run navizon, google maps, Windows Live Search, and S2U2 for locking it, and occasionally I use mobile Excel.

I'm wondering if there are any ROM's that someone else would recommend that would work on the Sprint network. Also, what info would I need before putting a different ROM on my phone?

I run nuerom3 on my mogul. You can dissable the camera and free up lots of ram.

No, WM6.1 does not "suck" on the Mogul. It's becasue people use them stupid official ROMs. Use a custom ROM.

NueRom is very good, his was a revolutionary milestone of titan roms, and I wish he would continue.. But I think he has moved on to other projects. Dcd has been continuing to make some great roms. Drellisdee has posted a new rom I am currently trying out, I have been most impressed with, it is flat out the fastest most stable rom I've used yet. I have yet to find a flaw with it.

Does the GPS work on yours? I am using the same ROM and the GPS doens't work. I did prior to installing this ROM.

Nuerom has been doing well and so far the 6.5 Kitchen is doing well.

Is there any information I need to write down from the settings on my phone like ESN or username or password or anything before converting to a different ROM?

Was thinking I'm going to try that 6.5 Kitchen if I can figure out where to download it at.

I'm thinking about the wm6.5 as well, but right now I'm on dcd 4.12 and everything works great, including GPS. It really is pretty snappy.

Before you go the custom ROM route, give SKtools a try. I'm running the stock Sprint ROM and never been running better. Check out this thread.
