activesync problems

I'm having trouble with my activesync, everytime I try to sync it recognizes my device, begins syncing, and then encounters a problem and needs to close. I am using the USB cable that came with the phone.

I can't figure out what's wrong. Help! :(

activesync sucks and how to make it suck less

i could not find a thread that has this info and thought it might help others

i have activesync 4.5 installed - it was always dropping the connection through the usb - or failing to connect - i would sometimes get a file through but had some big files i need to transfer to the storage card (i/nav maps - one is a half gig) - zipping it saves 1% - not much help

i found this info that seems to have fixed the problem

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...reoptions.mspx

ActiveSync Troubleshooter: More Options

bottom line was the usb protocol was having a problem and you can change it on the 6800 - from microsoft, here's how

On a Windows Mobile powered smartphone, from the Home screen, click Start > Settings > Connections.

Click or tap USB to computer.

Clear the Enable advanced network functionality check box.
