Need help Please!
 
The phone i have is an 6800 from Qwest. I updated the ROM with SPL2.47.exe thing, and then uploaded the original alltel ROM directly from them. I called and tried to activate thephone, and went through the *228 and ##000000, nothing works. It's still stuck on the Qwest towers I'm assuming. Any help?

The SPL2.47 is an unlocker but why would you go through all the issues just to load an OEM ROM. To my knowledge there is no ##000000. The 6 zeros are only for VZW users to enter the EPST. But before we (or Sprint users) can do that we have to enter ##778 or ##778# but even then that will no activate a device. Im not really sure how Qwest does thier activation though either.

You might try an Alltel carrier cab.

nevermind. called alltel tech support and went through the process manually. Thanks anyway. Sorry to bother you guys. I appreciate it.
