Help in getting Wireless LAN to work - No driver loaded??

Hello -

I have a problem that I can't figure out, and thought I'd turn to the big guns for help on. I have a sprint HTC Mogul that currently does not have cell service on it because I'm too broke to pay the bill while applying for disability. However, I still use the device daily and would like to get it networked with my wireless LAN. But I can't seem to get it to work.

It doesn't pick up the network, which is fine because I don't broadcast my SSID. So I manually enter the data needed. I try to connect after this, but all it will say is unavailable.

I'm not a moron, I'm relatively confident I entered in the key, encryption types, etc. correctly. It just won't connect.

So I enabled the SSID broadcast on my router to see if the device would detect it, and it did not.

I went into the settings for the Wireless LAN and on the Advanced tab, it says "Driver is not loaded". Could this be the problem? I am running a straight ROM that was the Windows 6.1 release in August, the release by HTC.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hate to start like this - so we'll ask the obvious: is your Mogul's Wifi turned on?

there is an option when setting up the connection to check if it is a hidden network maybe you should try checking it after you enter all the data
