This is very easy to turn off from settings/sounds notifications/events. Just uncheck the box. This will also turn off the other annoying system beeps.

well what i meant to say what, i installed the program, did a soft reset, even though it didnt say it was necessary, but when i went to start/programs, i didnt see the program on it... im not THAT much of an idiot lol

Hey, were not pointing any fingers (although we are having a bit of fun with your thread) but its what you said and how you said it. LOL

If there is not a shortcut placed then use your file explorer and go to your main directory and then Program Files and look in there.

yea i did that as well, so i dont know whats up unless its just a bad file or something i got

this isnt a very good solution lol

+1 for diamond tweak or advanced config..

but heres my question, if u have a mogul, and its giving you that message, why havent you upgraded to 6.1 yet, which that notifications been removed in??

i have upgraded to 6.1... but the annoying "message sent" icon still appears,

and i downloaded the release version, not any leaked version... and im pretty sure there isnt anywhere in the menus to choose to turn it off

well im hoping u already fixed this... but in Srpint offical 6.1, this was removed

when i look in the phones "about" it says Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional

maybe i should just try reinstalling it

All 6.1s will say that. So lets recap. You got Adanced Config installed but there is not icon in the Start -> Programs, right? And you used your file explorer to go to "Root Directory" -> Program Files -> Advancd Config, right? Let be back up and clariy. Was there an icon in the Programs menu? If not, was the app able to be located in the file directory? If not, did you reinstall? If so what happened when you tried to start the app. You cannot say 'nothing happened' because you will get an error or a screen will close or crash or something. So tell us where you are at please.
