upgraded to 6.1 on xv6800, now can't active sync
 

Hope someone can help, posted this in howardsforums and got no response, think i need more expertise...

Upgraded my xv6800 to wm 6.1 2 weeks ago. All went well. However, now when I connect my phone to the computer, active sync does't pop up. And when I start AS, it shows not connected. I run connection wizard, can't find phone! Am running AS 4.5.

I tried this on 2 separate computers with 2 separate cables. Nothing works. Worked fine prior to doing the upgrade. When I try from the phone, get the AS symbol, but nothing happens.

Any help here is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

How long are you leaving it plugged in for? When I first upgraded to 6.1, it took almost 5 minutes for my computer to connect. Also, check your comm manager to make sure that you have active sync turned on.

I don't know if it matters but I've had the same issue since I've had WinMo 6.1 and I have Sprint.

Disable "Advanced Network Functionality" in Stettings>Connections>Usb to PC.

Thanks everyone for the quick response. I have done all of these things already. I leave it connected for 5 hours, it doesn't find it. I have disabled advanced network functionality.

Could it be there is an issue with 6.1 and active sync.

Most people here have 6.1 and activesync working fine. I have a stock XV6800 with MR1 and it works fine. Maybe reflash. Your rom may be messed up.

Reinstall AS? Reinstall the drivers on the computer?
