Re: MR2 Upgrade??
I found this post after searching for it on google. I just installed it on a phone I have to send back to Verizon. The rom version is 3.57.605.2 dated 10/3/08 with radio 3.37.78. So a little newer than MR1. Approx 24.77MB of free memory after a fresh reset.

Re: MR2 Upgrade??
There is also a keyboard fix on their website as well. Not sure how long it has been up there but has this in the file:
This software update (cab file) corrects the following issue: • Fixed onboard QWERTY keypad issue, where the keypad works as if, the function key had been enabled at all times, when using sites like Yahoo Go2 and Windows Live Search as well as with other applications. |
Re: MR2 Upgrade??
My question is:
Does this MR2 reenable the GPS for use with 3rd Party Apps? (Doubt it) If not, does it defeat the patch (hack) that DOES reenable the GPS for MR1? |
Re: MR2 Upgrade??
Doubt is unlocked the GPS also but here is something to read about that.
Be careful about upgrading the ROMs and MR1/MR2 because alot of people got screwed by something like this some time back when an upgrade was out. Everyone wanted to be the first to try it and found it killed thier GPS. Then everyone was crying about it (rightfully so) and eventually it was hacked but it did take a while. |

Yup. BTW, looking at that support page I saw WM5 on that Titan. Oh how I long to have Krivin 3.5 on my Mogul. Lol. |

I hate the stock WM5 ROM. It absolutly garbage! But Like I stated, the Kirvin WM5 revision runs totaly awsome. I think it is superb WM6 ROM in a WM5 skin. Lol. I love it. |
