Titan Won't Charge or Connect to PC
 

Hi, One day when I was using my Titan as a GPS (TomTom 6.0) in my car using an aftermarket charger, all of a sudden, the charge light doesn't turn on anymore. Ever since then, my Titan doesn't charge using USB cable or any other charger. I have even tried connecting my Titan to the computer to see if I can establish a connection... but have ultimately failed. I want to know if anyone has experienced this. Can someone tell me what's going on? My Titan is running in very low batteries now and I'm afraid I won't be able to do anything if it ultimately dies out! Thanks, Don

is the usb port loose if u so u broke it

Try taking out the battery and putting it back in.. Make sure the usb is clean too...

I did both things... that still didn't work! Any other suggestions? The port is not loose at all... can this be fixed at all?

Hmmm.... Try using another USB Cable?

I had two or three ports go bad on me. Do you have a USB disk Drive program installed? If so try it in Disk Drive mode. That will elimnate any driver issues as the Disk mode is PnP.

Try a diff cable before doing all that though.

do headphones work? does anything plugged into the port work at all??

and trust me its loose, they all are, these phones have the absolute worse placement for their usb... if u talk while its charging at home< car is worse> your always pullin on it and dont even realize it..

if you goto a store for repair(it woould be under warranty, if u havent had it too long) DONT tell them u used a JANKIE charger... that voids any and all warranties right there
