Broken Message Button

So this morning I was using my Mogul and the message button fell off. OFF! And when I looked, the Internet button is cracked as well. Sprint is trying to tell me this is not normal wear and tear, but I've had the phone less then a year. A button should not fall off. Anyone else have this happen? I use those 2 buttons as much as much as the space bar! Any suggestions?

I've never seen buttons crack or fall out from normal use. What do you press them with, a hammer? Do you have insurance on it?

did the whole piece come off, like the IE part of it too? If it all came off then it could covered as the glue wore off or something but if its cracked and only the message button fell off, they would unfortunately consider it physical damage. Me personally as a service tech i probably would have swapped it through Advanced Exchange but you are a little far away from me, so i cant really help. Try doing it online.

My only issue with doing it online would be getting hit with some absurd charge because they see it broke. I'm on the phone with a supervisor and they're crediting my account $50 so they cover the $50 deductible with Asurion.

From personal experience...do a follow up call this evening to make sure the credit is posted on the account. I've been promised similar credits only to find out 30 days later nothing ever happened.

I just logged into my account online and the $50 credit is already posted. I love this phone company. I haven't been screwed yet. (knocking on many pieces of wood)

Yeah...they get a bad wrap, but in my opinion, all phone companies have the same kind of problems and Sprint is not too bad in fixing mistakes that do happen. Plus their data service is the best and plans are the cheapest. Glad you got it taken care of.
