Active Sync 4.5 Support Code 1
I have birthdays that aren't syncing to my desktop. I get support code 1 in the error box. I have googled and tried the below registry update with no help.
Click Start > Run and type the following: Regsvr32.exe %Windir%\System32\ole32.dll Click OK Reboot your PC. Sync again. I know someone here has had this problem before. Any help is appreciated. |

Is it only birthdays that are not syncing?

Currently that is the only thing that isn't syncing. But in the past a couple other recurring appts also weren't syncing

Did you create a new category or do you save everything as an appointment?

The birthday's were created on the mogul by designating a birthday under the contact. I always use appts. for all of the rest of them.

Well this is weird. I tried it both ways and the dates sync and appear in both calenders. Then again I'm currently using WMDC and Vista. I also checked the MS website and cannot find Error Code 1.
The last time I had a problem with activsync I had to remove it from the pc and reinstall. Backup your data before trying this. |

I have already removed the device and then added it with no help.

Now a new problem. It says it can't sync birthdays that dont exist anymore. I have deleted the birthday on my pc and mobile and also checked the calendars. The birthday arent listed anywhere but activesync thinks they do exist. Where could they be?
