I was on the Beta team with the 6700 and 6800 for a few days and it rocks!

By default it will go Landscape on what we 6800 users would call up side down according to the way the key board slides out - but you can modify that. I'll post how later.

Awesome work from Sling, that was quite fast!

O.K. I'll play. How do you get it to go landscape the right way? Sling doesn't have a clue and Slingcommunity is down right now.

I was on the BETA and I mentioned that and some guy said you could from the home screen. I'll check and get back.

THANKS. It's kinda a minor annoyance, but it looks awesome on the 6800.

I also tried to email Dave at Sling regarding to see what the solution was and he hasn't responded yet.

It can be landscaped to the side view by opening the keyboard. As soon as you close it, it goes back.

Did anyone have to get a new code? My reg code did not work and when I signed up for the beta, which I couldn't participate on because they released the final version the next day (not that I'm complaining), on one e-mail it said to contact them to have my key re-validated.

Yeah, they make you call to deactivate your old phone and activate the new version and phone. At least, you don't have to buy it again!

hopefully they can find your key. I got a free key back when the original sling mobile was in beta and they can't find my key to upgrade it. I couldn't find anything in the press release that stated those keys would not be allowed the upgrade. I just emailed them back with the original registration key email I got and will see what happens.
