I just wanted to add that I had the same annoying problem and removing the lock / PIN fixed it. Thanks for the tip. I'd really like to have the pin and the power button working right, but maybe HTC will fix it for us in the first update.

As i first began to read this thread, I was testing out my mogul and I thought "here we go.. i got a defective unit"... because everytime I would hit the power button to resume from standby, the phone would minimize everything and automatically go to the "today screen". However, I read it was related to setting a keylock pin, so I turned off my pin and no more auto today screen issue. The issue also doesn't occur when you password protect the phone with an instant timeout feature, but I usually set my timeout to 15 minutes or so. Will there be anyway around this other than disabling the password?

i'm having this same problem on my new Touch! Whats going on!? Any ideas?

Has anyone come up with a solution for this? I sure would like to have the PIN set and NOT have this annoying problem.
