Yes.. once you export it, copy it to your device and just double click it in File Explorer..

In Advanced Settings (in Options for the e-mail account) there's an option for "Delete them off the server" when deleting messages on the phone. Have you tried that and confirmed whether it works for Gmail?

Anyone still getting the same error message about not having the correct certificate after exporting?

Is there a way to view the certificate's serial numbers installed on the phone so that I can confirm I installed the right one or that the serial number matches what it should? (I can view the certificates that are enabled, I just can't see the serial numbers)

I exported the certificate from IE that matched the same serial number as posted above, but I still got the error.

When I log into gmail, I see a different certificate that it seems to be using, so I tried that one. I'm still having trouble.

Quite a long thread with much speculation...... No solution. The thread is getting office topic. This thread is about the *java* version on gmail. When attempting to login to gmail via the app this error appears:

"Sorry, Gmail will not work on your phone. Your phone doesn't have the appropriate certificate to communicate with the server. Try accessing Gmail or your mobile browser at ...."

The methods to obtain the cert above (via the pc ie) does work. Once the *.cer file is moved over to your wm6 device it *seems* to install ok. Gmail app however still reports the same error.

GMAIL

Google has a nice mobile interface where you can check your mail and calendar. I don't ever pop my mail. I just read it online.

Hello,
where is this setting you speak of? I cannot find it. It is exactly what I need.
