So I still get the "message sent" pop up
 

Hey everyone,

The last time I did a hard reset on my Alltel Titan was because it was slowing down a lot. But I've noticed now that whenever I send a text from the Outlook SMS program it gives me that "Message sent" notification. I found that to be especially annoying, so I went and got the nosentmsg cab file and ran that. And it STILL gives me that notification. It doesn't do that when I'm running VITO SMS chat. But I'm not liking the lack of autocorrection in there so I want to go back to using the Outlook SMS. But I can't stand that notification. Any ideas on how to get rid of that?

did you make sure to soft reset about 2 minutes after you applied the registry tweak?

Oh yeah. I always soft reset after installing a CAB. Always.

If you are still having the issue go google and find and app called Advanced Configuration Tool and use it.

Make sure you wait a couple of minutes before the soft-reset

You could try and do it the hard way.

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox
create a new key "Settings"
create a new string value "SMSNoSentMsg" and set the value to 1
Hit ok and select "Ok" to save and you are in business.
